Shoulder and low back pain and mobility issues are so very common for us humans. Shoulders are amazing joints the move in many directions. They are subject to stagnation if not articulated regularly. These movements are a simple way to ensure that all the muscles are activated daily. The added benefit of these movements offer is to help increase circulation and stimulate bowel movements. This is because they activate the heart, small intestine, and large intestine channels in the arms and shoulders.

The Illiopsoas muscle flexes your hip. It becomes short and tight from constant of prolonged sitting. In this tight state it pulls on the lumbar spine and is a common cause of low back pain. Lengthening it with this stretch is tremendously beneficial.
